Ordering Information
Illumina HiSeq 2500 and MiSeq sequencing orders are submitted online and can be tracked from submission to sequencing. Customers with active accounts may log in to place an order.
Please contact us, if you would like a TUCF Genomics account to submit an order.
Sample Submission Requirements
Prepared Illumina Libraries
Prepared Illumina libraries should be sent in a volume of at least 10uL at a dilution of 20nM. Please use 1x TE Buffer (10mM_Tris/1mM_EDTA), pH 8.0.
Please provide with your order a report or confirmation of library quality and validation.
Acceptable methods include a bioanalyzer report, gel image with 100 base markers and nanodrop readings, or a fluorescent-based assay such as Qubit or picogreen.
Good Illumina libraries should have a narrow fragment distribution between 150 and 500bp.
Smaller peaks may indicate the presence of adapter dimers, and larger fragment sizes will either not sequence well or will cause problems with cluster detection.
If you have any questions about the quality of your libraries, please contact us before submission.
DNA / RNA
Generally, we require at least 1ug of material for both DNA and RNA library preparations.
If your only method of QC is a nanodrop, please provide at least 5ug.
In other cases, please provide a bioanalyzer report (preferred) or results from a fluorescent-based assay such as Qubit or picogreen.
Low-input DNA
Due to the low amount of DNA typically recovered during ChIP, we require your submitted DNA concentration to be confirmed with
either a bioanalyzer report or results of a fluorescent-based assay.
Other
Depending on the application, we can accept other sample types or lower input amounts. Please contact us with questions.
Shipping
Due to the large number of samples received, failure to include the form with your shipment will result in delays to your order.
Please submit an order online, print the resulting form, and include it with your shipment.
Samples should be shipped on dry ice, overnight to:
